DLA Piper has appointed James O'Donnell as a partner in the Investment Funds team in London. James joins the firm from Debevoise & Plimpton.
Prior to entering the legal profession James served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Navy. He trained at Allen & Overy.

The appointment of James comes shortly after a number of significant hires into DLA Piper's London Corporate team namely private equity partner Anu Balasubramanian and M&A partners Patrick Somers and Rob Salter.
