Taylor Wessing advised HSH Nordbank AG, as lender, in connection with the financing of three wind parks located in Migé, Escamps and Clamecy-Oisy (Burgundy, France), consisting of 13 wind turbines with an aggregate nominal power capacity of 26.65 MW.

The interest of this transaction resided in the fact that it was split into three distinct but related portions: the German law credit for each wind park being set up on a stand-alone basis, French law security interests as customary for this type of renewable energy project and German law collaterals. Several German and French law corporate, commercial and regulatory aspects were also involved and handled by the cross-border Taylor Wessing team.

The transaction involved attorneys from our Renewable Energy Group located in both Paris and Hamburg.
