DLA Piper has advised Catella Real Estate AG (Catella) on the acquisition of a property in Munich from Allgemeine SÜDBODEN Grundbesitz AG. DLA Piper has recently also advised Catella on the acquisition of a speciality shopping centre in Nuremberg/Boxdorf as well as a property in the Munich district of Pasing.
The property is located in Claudius-Keller-Strasse on the “neue balan” campus in Munich and has a total rentable floor space in excess of 5,500 square metres. In 2009, the building underwent redevelopment and conversion. It is currently let on a long-term basis to the Mediadesign Hochschule für Design und Informatik GmbH, a university of design and information technology.

The real estate portfolio currently comprises office, logistics and retail properties with a rentable floor space in excess of 200,000 square metres and more than 300 tenants.
