Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co has advised Kennedy Wilson on a refinancing facility with GE Real Estate Loans Limited worth £127 million.

The firm's Commercial Development and Investment (CDI) team, alongside the Retail, Energy, Leisure and Management (RELM) team, assisted Kennedy Wilson, an LSE listed company which invests in real estate and real estate loans in Europe, on the transaction.

They completed due diligence on 18 of Kennedy Wilson's assets, a mixture of industrial office and business space. The successful refinancing enables Kennedy Wilson to acquire new investments and improves its liquidity position.

CDI and RELM fielded a large team of experts to ensure the due diligence was completed on time. The team comprised partners John Burns and Emma Pioli, director Andrew Harman, associates Kathryn Bird, Simon Wood, Rebecca Pugh, Alex Curtis, Parvinder Sohal and Holly Taylor. Also working on the transaction were solicitors James Eddowes, Laura Dick, Nick Bridgman, Julia Row and David Barry.

Clifford Chance advised on the banking aspects of the deal and Herbert Smith co-ordinated an intra-group property re-organisation.
