Advising Demeter Partners in connection with the acquisition by Demeter 4 INFRA of a majority stake in Efficentre, a special purpose company dedicated to the execution of Energy Performance Contracts (EPC). Eifficentre was allocated to Eiffage in 2010 by the Conseil Regional du Centre.

The Energy Performance Contract covers the conception, renovation, operation and maintenance of 18 high schools and administrative buildings, with the objective of achieving substantial gains in energy performance of those facilities. Launched in 2010 for a period of 15 years, it is in operation since the end of 2012.

After the transaction, Demeter 4 INFRA holds 81% of the shares of the company.

While Eiffage becomes a minority shareholder, it maintains a key role in the operation of Eifficentre, via its subsidiary Eiffage Energie Val de Loire in charge of the operation and maintenance of those facilities.
