King & Wood Mallesons has advised global private equity investment firm, Paine & Partners on its investment in AgBiTech Pty Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Headquartered in Australia, AgBiTech is a leading producer of cutting edge, reliable and environmentally safe pest management solutions that make farming more profitable and sustainable.

Global private equity firm, Paine & Partners focuses on the food and agribusiness sectors. Their strategy is to invest alongside existing owners and managers to combine their insight with Paine's expertise. KWM supports Paine in achieving these objectives by developing carefully structured investment terms that take into account the interests of both parties and preserve the goodwill that forms the basis of any successful business relationship.

The KWM team was led by partner Shannon Finch and senior associate Henrik Moritz supported by solicitors, Jarred Bambridge and Anthoney Duong.
