Sidley represented Simon Property Group, L.P., a leading retail mall REIT, in the €500 million offering by its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Simon International Finance, S.C.A., a corporate partnership limited by shares (société en commandite par actions) incorporated under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, of 1.250% guaranteed notes due 2025. The notes, offered under Regulation S in May 2016, are guaranteed by Simon Property Group, L.P.

The international REIT offering team was led by New York partner Ed Petrosky, with partners Jerry Cummins and Brian Kaplowitz, counsels Meaghan O’Toole and Carla Teodoro, and associate Jie Chai. The tax team included partners Chris Brause, David Miller, Nicholas Brown and associate Justin Barbosa.

The London offering team was led by partner Mark Walsh, with associates Beibei Ding and Raveen Dhaliwal, with the participation of partner Leonard Ng and associate Kai Zhang  on financial regulatory matters and senior associate Janine Dewsnap on tax.
