Nord-Lock has acquired Expander System Sweden AB with wholly owned subsidiaries in Sweden, USA and Germany.

The Expander Group is specialized in the design, manufacturing and sales of the Expander System, an expandable pivot pin system, for heavy machinery and equipment used within mining, forestry and the process industry.

Nord-Lock Group is specialized in innovative and secure bolting solutions. The group is owned by Investment AB Latour.

Nord-Lock was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm's team was led by Johan Lekholm, assisted primarily by Isabel Lindeberg, Ida Narkander, Erik Hensfelt (Sweden), Maria Tufvesson Shuck, Marcus Glimberg, Mikaela Källmén (USA), and Oliver Cleblad and Peter Bonert (Germany).
