Mayer Brown advises Knorr-Bremse on the acquisition of tedrive Steering Systems

Mayer Brown announced today that it represented Knorr-Bremse on the acquisition of tedrive Steering Systems GmbH. The purchase price was not disclosed. The acquisition is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities. With this acquisition Knorr-Bremse is adding state-of-the-art steering systems to its portfolio.

Based in Wülfrath (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany), tedrive Steering Systems GmbH develops and manufactures steering systems for the global vehicle market. The company has around 320 employees and locations in Germany, Turkey, Russia and the USA.

Knorr-Bremse AG is one of the world´s leading manufacturers for rail and commercial vehicles. Around 25,000 employees in 30 countries develop, manufacture and service brake, entrance, control and energy supply systems, HVAC and driver assistance systems as well as powertrain and transmission control solutions.
