White & Case has advised Accent Equity on the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in Eco Log.
Accent becomes co-owner of Eco Log alongside existing owner Stig Linderholm, and will support Eco Log's further expansion in Sweden and internationally.
Eco Log develops, manufactures and markets forestry machines designed for cut-to-length (CTL) harvesting. Based in Söderhamn, Sweden, it serves a global market with approximately 60 percent of sales exported overseas. The company has a strong position in some of the world's biggest markets for CTL harvesting, with a product portfolio that includes nine models of harvesters and forwarders, including Caterpillar's forestry machine product lines following their acquisition in 2004.
The White & Case team in Stockholm which advised on the transaction was led by partner Oscar Liljeson with support from associate Anna Gotthold.
