14 Sep 2017

White & Case LLP has advised Pure Safety™ in relation to the equity financing of its simultaneous acquisitions of two well-known US fall protection brands, Web Devices and Guardian Fall Protection. This acquisition establishes the PureSafety Group which aims to create a leading global fall protection business to service safety and training needs for individuals working at height. White & Case LLP has also advised the Smithfield Group, a global investment advisory firm, which is advising Pure Safety™ on operational improvement and strategic growth of the underlying businesses.

"White & Case is a long term and trusted adviser to The Smithfield Group and continues to advise Pure Safety™" said London-based White & Case partner Ian Bagshaw, who led the Firm's deal team. "The strength of these client relationships, combined with our cross-border capabilities and experience advising on similar transactions, means we were ideally placed to support this strategically significant investment by Pure Safety™."

The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partner Ian Bagshaw and included partners Caroline Sherrell, Emma Parr, Prabhu Narasimhan, James Greig, Peita Menon and Nicholas Greenacre with support from associates Nicole Vella, James Turner, Jamie Burgess, Helen Levendi, David Nisbet, David Lancaster and Laura Kitchen.
