The shareholders in IMKO Micromodultechnik GmbH have sold their shares to Endress+Hauser GmbH+Co. KG. The details of the sale were not disclosed.
A team from CMS Germany headed by lead partner Dr Regine Hagen-Eck advised the sellers, the Köhler family, on all legal aspects of the transaction.
Ettlingen-based IMKO Micromodultechnik GmbH is a technology company owned up to now by the Köhler family. It specialises in the development and production of measurement technology and sensors for recording various types of physical data, especially dampness. IMKO Micromodultechnik GmbH systems are used in the construction industry for measuring moisture (including soil moisture), in environmental monitoring and in process engineering applications. The company’s products are deployed across the food industry, the chemical sector and in life sciences.
Acquiring the shares in IMKO Micromodultechnik GmbH will enable Endress+Hauser GmbH+Co. KG to expand its product range in the field of high-quality measurement. Endress+Hauser GmbH+Co. KG is part of the Endress+Hauser Group, a leading international provider of measurement devices, services and solutions for industrial process technology. The group has 13,000 employees worldwide and generated sales of more than EUR 2.1 billion in the 2016 financial year.
