Cooley advised the management team of publisher Law Business Research (LBR), a leading provider of research news, data and insight on international business law and legal markets, on its sale to Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. Cooley private equity partner Stephen Rosen led the team. The deal saw private equity firm Bowmark Capital, which acquired LBR in 2013, exit the business.  

LBR provides information services to the international legal community through a portfolio of physical and online publications and research tools, including leading titles Global Arbitration Review, Global Competition Review and Global Investigations Review. LBR spans 120 jurisdictions across its brands and works with over 95% of the world’s top law firms.
