Swedish industrial robot manufacturer AB Rotech Tooling sold its subsidiary AB Rotech (based in Turkey) as well as an affiliate to ABB Group, based in Zurich. Through this acquisition, the listed Swiss technology company ABB strengthens its robotic welding solutions and particularly its capabilities in the automotive segment as supplier to OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

AB Rotech specializes in the manufacturing of robot-based automation systems. Among its clients are numerous international companies such as Renault, Magna, Henkel, BMC, Beko, Coca-Cola, Arcelik, Tofas and Componenta. The company was founded in April 2000 and is based in Bursa, Turkey.
