Dentons announces that Andrew McClain has joined the Firm’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice as partner resident in its Chicago office. McClain brings extensive experience in creditors’ rights, out-of-court workouts and restructurings, and commercial litigation.
McClain’s experience spans all facets of creditors’ rights, including judicial and non-judicial commercial foreclosures, receiverships and Article 9 sales. He regularly counsels clients on insolvency, collections, commercial lending, distressed real estate and special servicing matters. He represents a diverse range of clients, including secured lenders, special servicers, government-sponsored enterprises and court-appointed receivers. He also has served as counsel for a court-appointed receiver for the Securities and Exchange Commission. In addition, McClain handles real estate, business and construction litigation across state and federal courts.
