Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has assisted Global Power Sources S.r.l. in the acquisition of its 100% stake in Ascent Resources Italia S.r.l. from Ascent Resources Plc for approximately €8 million.

WFW advised Global Power Sources on the negotiation, drafting and finalisation of the contractual documentation concerning the acquisition.

Studio Legale Tributario (“SLT”), the tax law arm of EY in Italy, advised Ascent Resources Plc, a European oil and gas exploration and production company listed on the AIM market.

The WFW team was led by partner Eugenio Tranchino and supported by corporate associate Andrea Ceschina (WFW Milan)and Luca Sfrecola (WFW Rome) and tax associate Raffaele Villa (WFW Milan).
