Clifford Chance advised a fund company of Conren Land on the sale of the "Astraturm" building in Hamburg. Deka Immobilien GmbH acquired the property for its "Domus-Deutschland" fund.

The 68-metre high "Astraturm" is one of the tallest buildings in Hamburg. It is located in the St. Pauli district of the city and offers around 11,000 m² of office space.

Conren Land, based in Frankfurt, mainly provides portfolio and property management services, while also seeking to expand its own property portfolios. It mostly invests in modern commercial properties in top metropolitan locations in Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Austria. Conren Land also has close historic ties with major Spanish business families and institutions.

The Clifford Chance team comprised partner Cornelia Thaler, counsel Dr. Kristina Jaeger and transaction lawyer Anja Roth (all Real Estate, Frankfurt).

The team led by Cornelia Thaler had already advised Conren Land on the purchase of the "Astraturm" at the end of 2010.
