Dentons advises K/S VindInvest Cottbuser See on the sale of a German wind park to funds managed by Allianz Capital Partners

Dentons has successfully advised K/S VindInvest Cottbuser See, a Danish company, in connection with the sale of the interest in a German wind park company to funds managed by Allianz Capital Partners. The wind park is situated near Cottbus and comprises twelve turbines (Vestas V90) with a total rated power of 24 MW, commissioned in 2005/6. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.

The Dentons energy team led by Dr Volker Junghanns provided a broad variety of legal services to the seller, including vendor due diligence, fixing of a number of documentation issues, amending and renegotiating real estate usage contracts, release of existing financing (including security) and M&A advice (negotiation of sale and purchase agreement plus ancillary contracts).
