Baker & McKenzie Advises on First En Bloc Sale of Commercial Building in Jakarta

Baker & McKenzie International’s member firms in Indonesia, Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (“HHP”) and Singapore, Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, acted as counsel to Indonesia conglomerate Rajawali Group in relation to the en bloc sale of a 47-storey international Grade-A office tower to an affiliate of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation ("GIC"). The Firm advised Rajawali Group from the early procurement stage, to competitive dialogue with bidders, and ultimately, to negotiating and finalizing the contract with GIC.

The Fishmongers’ Company - grant of an option to CPC Group to acquire freehold of Sugar Quay

Slaughter and May advised The Fishmongers' Company on the grant of an option to Christian Candy's CPC Group (CPC) to buy the freehold of Sugar Quay, London. This follows CPC's acquisition of the long leasehold interest in 2012. CPC intends to carry out a 280,193 sq. ft. residential development of Sugar Quay, comprising 165 residential apartments across 11 storeys, a mixed use ground floor and a waterfront commercial unit.

Olswang advises Capital & Regional on £71.7m sale of Great Northern Warehouse

Olswang has advised long-standing client Capital & Regional plc on the sale of its Great Northern Warehouse property in Manchester to Resolution Property for an initial cash consideration of £71.1 million.

The leisure complex in Manchester city centre has 46 units and is home to an AMC Cinema, the Manchester 235 Casino and the All Star Lanes bowling alley plus 1,255 car spaces.

Olswang advises listed property development and investment specialist on £39m portfolio disposal

International law firm Olswang has advised Quintain Estates & Development plc, the London property development and investment specialist listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, on its corporate and real estate sale of a portfolio of real estate assets to Palace Capital plc, a company listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.  The transaction was valued at £39,050,000 and constituted a reverse takeover for Palace.

Dentons advises on real estate portfolio sale in Poland

Dentons' real estate team has advised on the sale of a portfolio of shopping galleries in Poland. The team led by Real Estate Partner Pawel Debowski advised Charter Hall Group on the sale to Tristan Capital Partners of the portfolio of five shop  ping galleries in Poland: “Park Handlowy Zakopianka” in Cracov, “Centrum Handlowe Borek” in Wroclaw, “Galeria Handlowa Turzyn” in Szczecin, “Centrum Handlowe Dabrowka” in Katowice and “Park Handlowy Arena” in Gliwice.

The acquisition is one of the largest transactions in Poland this year.
