Setterwalls has advised Priveq Investment Fund IV in connection with its investment in 21 Grams AB, a company that offers postal management, both physical and digital, to corporate customers in the Nordics. The team was led by Mattias Detterfelt and Linn Jonsson primarily assisted by Henrik Kjellander, Lovisa Nellevad and Tobias Öd. Kristina Einarsson has assisted Priveq with the financing of the acquisition, and Malin Albert and Mikael Rydkvist with the competition filing in Sweden.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises on financing for Nigeria’s largest mobile payments company

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Nigeria’s largest mobile payment company Paga on its latest financing round.

The $13m Series B financing was led by Adlevo Capital. Other institutional investors in this round include Omidyar Network, Goodwell West Africa, Acumen Fund, and Capricorn Investment Group. Also joining the list of individual investors in Paga is Jeremy Stoppelman, co-Founder and CEO of Yelp and one of the early team members at PayPal.

DLA Piper advised Mobile Ventures on second round of financing for PipesBox

DLA Piper has advised Mobile Ventures GmbH on the Series A round financing for PipesBox GmbH. This is the second round of financing for PipesBox after bridge financing had been successfully supported by DLA Piper at the end of 2014. Technologiefonds MV GmbH acted as a co-investor.

Mobile Ventures GmbH is the corporate venture capital company of Drillisch AG and invests in start-ups as well as high-growth companies and, in addition to financing, provides access to markets and know-how in the fields of mobile, internet and online marketing.

King & Wood Mallesons advised Montana Capital Partners (mcp) on the first and final closing of its highly oversubscribed mcp Opportunity Secondary Program III, raising more than € 400 million in commitments.

Just as its predecessor funds, the third fund concentrates on mcp’s successful investment strategy in niche segments of the private equity secondary market. In particular, the fund’s focus is on secondary transactions in co-investments, fund of funds and small and mid-market transactions, of up to € 30 million.
