PREMIUM Equity Partners sells weka group with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek to Outdoor Life Group

A team led by Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack advised funds advised by PREMIUM Equity Partners, Frankfurt/Main, on the sale of all shares in weka group to Dutch Outdoor Life Group (OLG). weka, headquartered in Neubrandenburg, employs some 140 people and generates sales in excess of EUR 30 million. The group works in two concept worlds: The garden world segment includes garden houses, terrace roofing, children’s play equipment, swimming pools, and carports. The wellness sector is served with high-quality saunas and infrared heat cabins. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

CENX acquired by Ericsson

Swedish telecommunications firm Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) completed its acquisition of 100% of the shares in CENX, a service assurance and network analytics firm.

CENX is headquartered in New Jersey and operates a major research and development facility in downtown Ottawa. Ericsson has held a minority stake in CENX since 2012.

Gowling WLG was Canadian counsel to CENX with respect to this transaction with a team that included Lorraine Mastersmith, Elisa Scali and Sarah Crowe.

EPCOR acquires Collus Powerstream from Town of Collingwood

The Town of Collingwood announced that it had sold its electrical utility Collus Powerstream to EPCOR Utilities Inc., following the successful completion of two share purchase transactions.

First, the Town purchased Alectra Utilities Corp.'s 50% stake in Collingwood PowerStream. Alectra was formerly called PowerStream and purchased 50% of the Collus shares from the Town in 2012.

Second, EPCOR purchased all of the Collus shares from the Town.
