Ashurst advises Ladbrokes Coral on its potential acquisition by GVC Holdings

Ashurst is advising Ladbrokes Coral on its potential acquisition by GVC Holdings, the possible terms of which were announced today. Under these terms, Ladbrokes Coral shareholders would be entitled to 32.7p in cash and 0.141 ordinary GVC shares for each Ladbrokes Coral share, and a potential further value of up to 42.8p structured as a contingent value right (CVR).

BEITEN BURKHARDT Advises Duetz Group on Sale of GANT DACH GmbH

The international law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT has advised Duetz Fashion Gesellschaft mbH and Duetz Einzelhandels GmbH on the sale of all shares in GANT DACH GmbH to GANT Holding AB. The Signing has taken place in October 2017 and Closing is scheduled for the end of December 2017. The parties have agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.

Hammerson plc £3.4bn recommended offer for Intu Properties plc

Travers Smith LLP has advised long-standing client The Peel Group, the largest shareholder in Intu Properties plc (Intu), in connection with Hammerson plc's £3.4billion recommended offer for Intu.

Intu has 20 shopping centres across the UK including the intu Trafford Centre in Manchester. The recommended offer by Hammerson would bring ownership of London's Brent Cross, the Birmingham Bullring and Manchester's Trafford Centre into one group.

DWF has advised specialist sofa retailer Sofology Ltd on its multimillion pound sale to DFS following clearance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

International legal business DWF has advised specialist sofa retailer Sofology Ltd on its multimillion pound sale to DFS following clearance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

The completion of the sale takes place just months after DWF lawyers advised the 37-strong store chain when DFS struck the £25m acquisition deal in August.

CMS advises GAME Digital on its sale of Multiplay to Unity Technologies

International law firm has advised long-standing client GAME Digital plc (LON:GMD) on the sale of its subsidiary Multiplay, which operates an online game server-hosting business for game developers and a direct B2C game hosting service, to San Francisco-headquartered Unity Technologies for a consideration of £19 million.

Multiplay’s state-of-the-art hybrid bare metal server and cloud technology is used for some of the most popular and largest online games, such as major title Titanfall 2, and automatically scales to meet player demand.
