Ashurst has advised the Canadian group WSP Global, one of the world's leading professional services firms listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, on the acquisition of Technip TPS SAS, a French subsidiary of Technip SA.

The acquisition of TPS, a company specializing in building and infrastructure engineering, which remains subject to customary conditions precedent, should be completed on first quarter 2014. Upon completion of the acquisition, Eric Falleur, president of TPS, will continue to head the operations of this subsidiary in France.

The Ashurst team was led by Guy Benda, partner, assisted by Julien Rebibo, associate, on corporate aspects and Nataline Fleury, counsel, on employment aspects.
