Clifford Chance has advised GLL GmbH & Co. Messeturm Holding KG, Munich, on the sale of the Messeturm building in Frankfurt by way of a share deal. The office tower was sold to US financial investor Blackstone. The parties agreed to maintain silence about the purchase price.
This skyscraper with a total height of over 250 meters and 64 floors completed back in 1990 is one of the highest buildings in Europe. US investment bank Goldman Sachs and the financial information service provider Thomson Reuters are the anchor tenants of the building which has a total usable floor space of about 62,000 square meters.
