Castren & Snellman acted as counsel for the UK-based Core Assets Group in its acquisition of Neljä Astetta Oy, a Finnish company offering child welfare services. With the transaction, Neljä Astetta Oy will become part of the same group with Perhehoitokumppanit Suomessa Oy, a Finnish family welfare company owned by Core Assets Group. In 2014, Neljä Astetta Oy posted a turnover of approximately EUR 4.6 million, and the company had 64 employees.

In addition to Finland, Core Assets Group operates in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United States and Canada.

The C&S team was led by partner Jan Örndahl, who was supported by senior associates Benjamin Bade and Suvi Kettunen.
