DLA Piper has advised Integrated Dental Holdings (IDH), a company backed by The Carlyle Group and Palamon Capital Partners, on the acquisition of the Dental Directory group of businesses.
IDH is one of Britain's largest corporate dental services providers. Dental Directory provides a range of dental products and services to dentists across the UK, and has nearly 300 employees across four UK sites.
The DLA Piper team was led by partner Catherine Simister, with assistance from Rob McKie, Anna Hopper and Lorna Parkin.
Catherine said: "We are very pleased to have advised IDH on this transaction, which will allow both parties to boost their current offering, and offer a wider range of services and support to their customers."
Liz McDonald, IDH Group GC and Company Secretary added: "Both the IDH Group Board and our investors were delighted with the project. DLA Piper's team on the project, led by Catherine Simister, were excellent throughout. It was a complex, multi-faceted, project that demanded tremendous effort by all the parties involved. We have an increasingly strong relationship with DLA Piper, both in relation to corporate acquisitions and the day to day acquisitions of dental practices they carry out for us and progressively more in the general advice and support they provide the Group."
