DLA Piper has advised Mobile Ventures GmbH on the bridge financing round for PipesBox GmbH. This is the third round of financing for PipesBox after Mobile Ventures successfully provided the company  with equity capital in 2014 and 2015, supported by DLA Piper on both occasions. Technologiefonds MV GmbH acted as a co-investor, alongside business angels.

Mobile Ventures GmbH is the corporate venture capital company of Drillisch AG and invests in start-ups as well as high-growth companies and, in addition to financing, provides access to markets and know-how in the fields of mobile, internet and online marketing.

PipesBox is developing a platform for smart homes and the “Internet of things” for end users. It implements applications from the fields of safety, comfort, energy and lifestyle. Their application-oriented approach focuses on users and their wishes through a market concept.
