DLA Piper represented New Signature in connection with its acquisition of Atlanta-based Microsoft Partner InfraScience. The deal, announced December 1, 2015, continued New Signature’s strategic expansion of service offerings for the company’s North American customers. The deal is the fifth in 2015 in which the firm advised New Signature.
The DLA Piper team representing New Signature was led by partners Eric Grossman (Northern Virginia), Stacy M. Paz (Silicon Valley), David Plewa (Silicon Valley) and Thomas J. Hendershot (Northern Virginia), and associates Cara Hupprich (Northern Virginia) and Ryan B. Selis (Northern Virginia).
New Signature, based in Washington, D.C., is a full-stack Microsoft consultancy focused on providing transformative business solutions to customers across North America. In 2014 and 2015, the company was the first to be named Microsoft’s US Partner of the Year in consecutive years.
Earlier in 2015, DLA Piper represented BSI Platform Holdings, LLC in its acquisition of New Signature. Following the acquisition, BSI Platform Holdings adopted the New Signature name for its whole platform. Later in 2015 DLA Piper counseled New Signature in acquiring Microsoft application platform leader imason and Microsoft partners CMS Consulting and Infrastructure Guardian, both of which has worked closely with imason.
