DLA Piper advised the owners of Eitech Holding AB (publ) in the sale of all shares in the company to VINCI Energies. The divestment means that VINCI Energies, the VINCI subsidiary specialised in energy and information and technology communication technology services, acquires 100 per cent of the companies and resources within the Eitech Group.
Eitech is today one of the leading specialists in electrical works and engineering for industry, infrastructures and buildings in Sweden, generating approximately EUR 200 million and employing 1,200 people in Sweden, from Malmö in the south to Kiruna in the north. The Eitech brand, business and focus will remain unchanged in connection with the divestment as the business integrates into the Nordic operations of VINCI Energies.
After the Eitech acquisition and including the acquisition of Infratek, announced last week, VINCI Energies is estimated to have more than 3,500 employees and a turnover of over €650 million. The acquisition is subject to the approval of the Swedish competition authority.
The DLA Piper team, led by Anders Malmström, consisted of Petter Kjöllerström, Petros Vardanian and Erik Holmberg.
