DLA Piper advised ipsy, the world’s largest online beauty community, in its $100 million Series B funding round from TPG Growth and Sherpa Capital.
Founded in 2011 by YouTube trailblazer Michelle Phan, ipsy is centered around the award-winning Glam Bag, a personalized product sampling service paired with authentic content from online beauty creators. ipsy currently has 1.5 million monthly Glam Bag subscribers across the U.S. and Canada and reaches 20 million women every month.
Partners Matt Oshinsky, Tom Furlong and Sang Kim, of Silicon Valley led the DLA Piper transaction team along with associate Anil Kalia.
