Squire Patton Boggs has advised the owner of the Polish gluten-free food manufacturer Bezgluten Sp. zo.o. on its sale to Bounty Brands Holdings Limited, the diversified, consumer brands business. Bounty Brands has acquired 99% of Bezgluten shares in the buyout.
Bezgluten, a producer and distributor of a wide range of gluten-free products, operates a manufacturing plant near Krakow and currently employs more than 75 people. It is the second-largest player in the growing Polish gluten-free food market. Bounty Brands has a portfolio of leading brands available in more than 40 countries globally and is owned by Coast2Coast Capital, the private investment house based in South Africa.
The team in Warsaw that advised Bezgluten on the transaction was led by Corporate partner Michal Karwacki and included of counsel Pawel Magierowski and associates Hubert Binkiewicz and Aleksandra Drozdz.
