A newly formed joint venture controlled by Raven Capital Management LLC (Raven) has acquired David Ian Productions Limited, a leading producer, promoter, and tour operator of high-profile musicals staged in theatrical markets around the world.

Founded in 2006, David Ian Productions produces tours of some of the world's biggest hit musicals including Annie, The Bodyguard, Cats, Evita, Chicago, Grease, and The Sound of Music in various international markets including the United Kingdom, China, the United States, South Africa, Japan, Australia, the Middle East, Asia, and New Zealand.

Latham & Watkins advised the joint venture in the transaction with a London team led by partners Libby Savill and Robbie McLaren with associates Stewart Robinson and Emma Pianta.
