Linklaters advised Deutsche Börse AG on the full acquisition of the electronic foreign exchange trading platform 360T Beteiligungs GmbH (360T). Summit Partners 360 S.à.r.l. as well as the other shareholders of 360T are the sellers. The total purchase price is 725 million euros.
360T is a leading, globally operating foreign exchange trading platform with a broad client base consisting of companies, buy-side clients and banks. The company was established in Frankfurt by Carlo Kölzer in the year 2000 and has ever since then had double-digit annual growth rates. Since 2012, the U.S. private equity firm Summit Partners has a majority share in 360T.
The completion of this transaction is subject to the approval by regulatory and antitrust authorities.
