Millicom lists SEK 2 billion bond

On Friday 27 May, 2016 Millicom International Cellular S.A. successfully listed a three year, SEK 2 billion, senior unsecured bond carrying a floating rate coupon (STIBOR + 3.30 per cent.) on Nasdaq Stockholm. The proceeds of the issue is to be used for the general corporate purposes of the group and part of such proceeds have been used to finance a tender offer made by Millicom in relation to their SEK 2012/2017 bonds which was run in parallel with the new issue.

In 2015, Millicom generated revenue of USD 6.73 billion and Adjusted EBITDA of USD 2.27 billion.

DNB and Nordea acted as joint bookrunners in relation to the new issue, dealer managers in relation to the tender offer and Nordea was also mandated as tender agent. Nordea appointed Mannheimer Swartling as counsel for the joint bookrunners, dealer managers and the tender agent with Daniel Karlsson leading the firm’s team consisting of David Tayler, Daniel Khayyami and Sarah Hansén.
