Adelis Equity Partners’ portfolio company Nordomatic acquires dominus
Adelis Equity Partners, a leading private equity firm focusing on the Nordic lower middle market, today announced the acquisition of dominus A/S, a leading Danish building management systems company, from Trefor A/S.
The acquisition was made via the portfolio company Nordomatic, which was acquired by Adelis Equity Partners in March 2016. Nordomatic has developed from being a Stockholm-focused business to becoming a leading specialist within building automation with presence in eleven cities in Sweden. The merger with dominus A/S is part of a strategy to create a leading Nordic player within the area of ‘smart buildings’.
The merging companies will have a turnover of approximately SEK 500m and 250 employees.
Nordomatic AB is a Stockholm-based leading provider of energy-efficient smart building solutions to property owners and general contractors. Nordomatic has 175 employees, a revenue of SEK 330m and offices in Stockholm, Solna, Södertälje, Linköping, Norrköping, Jönköping, Kalmar, Växjö, Borås, Göteborg and Malmö.
Founded in 1997 by the Juul family, dominus A/S is one of the leading suppliers of building management systems in Denmark. dominus has 72 employees and offices in Herning, Aarhus, Aalborg, Kolding and Copenhagen.
