Osborne Clarke has advised Invenox on the closing of its Series A financing round. The Munich-based company, a spin-off start up from TU München, has developed a battery storage system with high energy-density for greater reach and high operational life.

The investor is Dirk Lehmann, Managing Partner of the family business Becker Marine Systems from Hamburg. The financing round will enable Lehmen to introduce his operational know-how and network to the company. The fresh capital will mainly be used to develop further production capacities, new products as well as extend the team.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the financing was led by Partner Dr Martin Sundermann and Dr Mark Friedrich.
