Baker & McKenzie, together with CBA and Chiomenti, acted in relation to the establishment of a new real estate FIA - the Mercury Fund - a real estate portfolio worth over EUR 300 million.

Savills SGR will manage the Mercury Fund and were advised by Baker & McKenzie partner Alessandro Matteini on legal and regulatory issues.

CBA Studio Legale e Tributario, with a team led by partner Francesco Assegnati and supported by Giuseppe Serranò, Leonardo Casaleno, Andrea Motta and Maria Rosa Spera, assisted the investor. Gruppo Cattolica Assicurazioni, is a leading Italian insurance company, specializing in legal and tax issues.

Studio Legale Chiomenti, with a team made up of Paolo Fedele, counsel, Giuseppe Andrea Giannantonio and Luca Bonetti, partners, and the assistance of Gabriele Palladini, senior associate, and Alessandra Alfei and Andrea Castelli, associates, advised the investor, CONAD, the largest consortium of independent retailers in Italy, on legal and tax issues.
