SEB Private Equity Opportunity Fund III has acquired a majority stake in Accedo Broadband AB from inter alia Stiftelsen Industrifonden and Acacia Asset Management AB.

As global market leader in TV application solutions, Accedo Broadband has since its inception in 2004 achieved a customer base of over 350 of the world's leading premium media companies, operators, broadcasters and other video services providers and it reaches hundreds of millions of video consumers world-wide.

SEB Private Equity Opportunity Fund III was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm's team primarily consisted of Jan Holmius, Caroline Karlsson, Carl Björk and Max Karlsson.
