Shearman & Sterling Advises J.P. Morgan on WIND Hellas’ €95 Million High-Yield Tap Offering

Shearman & Sterling advised J.P. Morgan, as sole global coordinator, on WIND Hellas' high yield "tap" offering of €95 million 10% senior secured notes due 2021.

The proceeds of the offering, which closed on December 7, 2017, will primarily be used for general corporate purposes, including financing potential future acquisitions and capital expenditure investments.

WIND Hellas is one of three major integrated communication providers in Greece with a proprietary mobile network. WIND Hellas offers mobile and fixed-line telecommunications and high-speed internet services under a unified brand and on a national basis to over 4.3 million mobile pre-paid, mobile post-paid and fixed-line services subscribers.

The Shearman & Sterling team was led by partner Apostolos Gkoutzinis and associates Randy Nahlé, Saif Alaqili and Evangelia Andronikou (all London-Capital Markets).
