King & Spalding advises Tishman Speyer Investment Management GmbH on the acquisition of the office tower "Bürohaus an der Alten Oper" in Frankfurt from Mann Unternehmensgruppe.
Built in 1984, the office building at the Alte Oper (Neue Mainzer Straße 75, Frankfurt am Main, Germany) is 89 meters high and has a lettable space of approx. 20.900 square meters which is almost completely let to twelve tenants, including the financial service provider Bloomberg, the investment bank Lazard and the law firm Herbert Smith & Freehills. The property was acquired for a special alternative investment fund (special AIF / Spezial-AIF) managed by Tishman Speyer Investment Management GmbH for several companies of the insurance group Versicherungskammer Bayern.
King & Spalding has advised the client on the transaction as well as on the set-up of the fund and the financing of the transaction.
