A Travers Smith team led by corporate partner Helen Croke advised long standing client Bridgepoint Development Capital ("BDC"), a major international private equity firm on the acquisition of Phlexglobal, the specialist provider of technology-enabled document management solutions and other support services to the global clinical research market from Inflexion Private Equity.
Established in 1997, Phlexglobal has offices in Amersham, UK and Philadelphia, US and employs 230 people. The company supports administrative and operational aspects of the pharmaceutical clinical trial process. It is a specialist in Trial Master File software and services to global pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors and clinical research organisations.
Travers Smith recently advised BDC and the shareholders of Pulsant on the sale and final exit of Pulsant to Oak Hill Capital Partners.
