Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised global private equity firm Rhône Capital LLC on its US$150 million preferred equity investment, through affiliated investment funds, in VistaJet.
The transaction values VistaJet, the global aviation company with a fleet of more than 70 aircraft that flies corporations, governments and private clients to 187 countries worldwide, in excess of US$2.5 billion. Rhône's investment, combined with secondary acquisitions, will give it US$200 million in preferred convertible shares in VistaJet.
"We have advised Rhône on significant transactions for a number of years," said London-based White & Case partner Ian Bagshaw, who led the Firm's deal team. "Our team has now supported a deal that aligns with Rhône's strategy of seeking investment opportunities in market leading companies."
Rhône Capital has more than 20 years of investing experience, with around US$5.5 billion in assets under management. It focuses its private equity investments in market leading businesses with a pan-European or transatlantic presence and global growth opportunities.
The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partner Ian Bagshaw and included partners Richard Jones, Jill Concannon and Justin Benson, with support from associates Steven Worthington, Andrew Harper, Brian Dearing, Joe Bradley and Irina Kozlova.
