Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co has advised Al Tayyar Group Holding Company ("Al Tayyar") on a £13.5 million acquisition of Thomas Cook Group plc's UK corporate travel business, Co-operative Travel Management.

Co-operative Travel Management, is part of the joint venture between Thomas Cook, the Co-operative Group, and Midlands Co-operative. The acquisition, which is expected to complete by the end of June, follows Al Tayyar's £14.3 million purchase of Elegant Resorts Limited, a travel agency business specialising in luxury travel and tailor-made holidays, from Thomas Cook UK Limited earlier this year.
