Svenska Petroleum Exploration divests its Norwegian subsidiary to Det norske oljeselskap ASA

Svenska Petroleum Exploration AB has divested its Norwegian subsidiary Svenska Petroleum Exploration AS to Det norske oljeselskap ASA, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, for a cash consideration of USD 75 million (on a cash and debt free basis).

Svenska Petroleum Exploration AS is an oil and gas company holding 13 licenses in the North Sea and four exploration licenses in the Norwegian Sea. The company has 15 employees.

Noerr advises industrial consortium on setting up a hydrogen station network in Germany

Noerr has advised Air Liquide, Daimler, Linde, OMV, Shell and Total on establishing the joint venture H2 MOBILITY Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.

By forming this joint venture, the parties have set the course for gradually expanding the nation-wide hydrogen (H2) station network to a total of ca. 400 stations by 2023. The action plan of H2 MOBILITY provides for a comprehensive network of H2 stations throughout Germany by the year 2023. To this end, investments totalling ca. €400 million are planned.

Trowers & Hamlins advises Jordan’s NEPCO on procurement of further tranche of LNG

Trowers & Hamlins, in conjunction with Navigant, Tractebel and Mapstone, is pleased to have advised Jordan's National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on the procurement of a further tranche of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for Jordan's LNG import terminal.

The contract was awarded recently to Royal Dutch Shell and will have a term of two years.  The cargoes are likely to have a value of around US$1 billion and deliveries will commence in early 2016.

BLP advises Golden Square Energy on one of the UK’s largest Feed-In-Tariff wind portfolios

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has advised Golden Square Energy (GSE), a joint venture between Ingenious Clean Energy and AGR Renewables, on the long term refinancing of a portfolio of 18 single turbine onshore wind projects.

BLP advised GSE on the full suite of debt and security documents as well as providing certificates of title on key project sites.

WFW advises EWE on joint venture for the offshore wind farm Borkum West II – 2nd phase

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised EWE AG (“EWE“) on all legal and tax matters for the joint venture development of the German offshore wind farm Borkum West II – 2nd phase. The joint venture partners of EWE are Trianel GmbH, as well as 22 public utility companies of the Trianel group. WFW has advised on all joint venture and company agreements, as well as the project development agreements, due diligence and structuring of the project.

White & Case Advises Eren Renewable Energy on €200 Million Fundraising

White & Case LLP has advised Eren Renewable Energy on its fundraising of approximatively €200 million.

The transaction will enable the group to finance its development projects in a sustainable manner, in particular by accelerating the expansion of its international assets portfolio. A capital increase of €100 million, the first part of this fundraising, has been subscribed by BPI France, Next World, Salvepar (Tikehau Group) and FFP.

White & Case Advises Chiyoda on 50:50 Joint Venture with Ezra

White & Case LLP has advised Chiyoda Corporation on the establishment of a 50:50 joint venture with Ezra's Subsea Services business, EMAS AMC, a leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor, to create EMAS CHIYODA Subsea.

The transaction, initially announced on August 27, 2015, is subject to the approval of Ezra shareholders and other conditions. It is expected to close by year-end.
