Birmingham-based Hills Numberplates Ltd has announced the acquisition of French number plate manufacturer Faab Fabricauto from 3M’s Traffic Safety and Security Division for an undisclosed sum.
Faab Fabricauto is a leading French manufacturer of license plates and signage solutions with facilities in Bourg-en-Bresse and Macon. The purchase by the UK manufacturer sees Hills move closer to their ambitions of becoming a major global player in the number plate market. The sale will see all 150 workers transition with the business to assist in Hills future growth.
King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised parent company, Datatec on Logicalis’ acquisition of 100% of shares in Thomas Duryea Consulting in an all-cash deal for an undisclosed sum.
Australian IT infrastructure consultancy, Thomas Duryea is headquartered in Melbourne. IT infrastructure and managed services company, Logicalis is owned by Datatec, a global IT giant listed on the Johannesburg and London Stock Exchanges that also owns major distributor Westcon Group.
A joint team of Slaughter and May, Uría Menéndez and Hengeler Muller lawyers is advising The Riverside Company on its acquisition of Euromed, S.A., a business-to-business manufacturer of herbal extracts and natural active substances located in Spain. The total consideration is EUR 82 million.
