DLA Piper advises ABRY Partners in Rackspace's acquisition of Datapipe

DLA Piper represented ABRY Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on media, communications,  business and information services companies, in its sale of Datapipe, one of the world's leading providers of managed services across public and private clouds, managed hosting and colocation, to Rackspace and its controlling shareholder, alternative investment manager Apollo Global Management.

Kirkland & Ellis Advises Silverfleet Capital on the Sale of CCC Group

Kirkland & Ellis International LLP is advising Silverfleet Capital on the sale of CCC Group, a leading provider of call center services, to French mid-cap private equity investor Ardian. The sale is completed by way of a competitive auction process with numerous bidders. The value of the transaction, which is subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities, has not been disclosed.

Silverfleet Capital, one of Europe's leading independent private equity firms, acquired CCC from Ardian in 2013 and is now transferring the group back.

Kirkland represents Midea on privatization of HK-listed Welling Holding

Kirkland & Ellis is representing Midea International Corporation Company Limited (the offeror), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Midea Group Co., Ltd. (000333.SZ), on its proposed US$237 million privatization of Welling Holding Limited (HKSE: 382) by way of a scheme of arrangement.

The Kirkland team is led by Hong Kong corporate partners Nicholas Norris and Joey Chau.

MinterEllison has acted for Paris Creek, an iconic South Australian organic dairy processor and manufacturer, which was acquired for $43.0m (on an enterprise value basis).

ASX listed company Primary Opinion, has signed an agreement with founders Ulli and Helmut Spranz to buy 100% of B-D. Farm Paris Creek (Paris Creek).

MinterEllison has acted for Paris Creek, which was acquired for $43.0m (on an enterprise value basis).

Taylor Wessing advises Rutland Partners on sale of Brandon Hire

Taylor Wessing has advised longstanding client Rutland Partners on its sale of Brandon Hire, a leading tool and equipment hire company, to Vp plc, realising a return of 2.6x on its original c.£32 million investment.

Bristol-based Brandon Hire was founded in 1971, and now serves over 30,000 customers from 140 locations across Britain, employing over 900 people. The business is a key supplier of rented tools and equipment to the maintenance and construction sectors, as well as to growing markets such as the events industry.

Norton Rose Fulbright advises Berenberg on € 122m Solutions 30 share sale

Norton Rose Fulbright has advised private bank Berenberg on the share sale of Solutions 30, a French software services company. Shareholders in Solutions 30 came to market with an equity block trade, intended to increase liquidity in the shares and give new investors the opportunity to buy into the name. The deal, led by Berenberg, was for 4.7m shares, or 19,7% of the voting rights and was worth EUR 122m.

DLA Piper advises the owners of Eitech Holding AB (publ) in sale

DLA Piper advised the owners of Eitech Holding AB (publ) in the sale of all shares in the company to VINCI Energies. The divestment means that VINCI Energies, the VINCI subsidiary specialised in energy and information and technology communication technology services, acquires 100 per cent of the companies and resources within the Eitech Group.

CMS advises Aheim Capital on sale of W.AG to funds advised by Kieger AG and CIC Capital

Aheim and other shareholders have sold their stake in W.AG Beteiligungs GmbH to funds advised by Swiss firm Kieger AG and French company CIC Capital.

A CMS team headed by Dr Jörg Lips and Dr Juliane Voigtmann advised Aheim on all legal aspects of the transaction. Last year, CMS advised on the sale of PDV Systeme to Aheim, with Aheim being the counterparty on that occasion.
